Workforce Development - DeltaWORKS

The Workforce Development Program is a partnership between Louisiana Delta Community College and area businesses and industries.

The program is designed to meet the specific needs of both businesses and students – providing the training needed to ensure that northeast Louisiana has a highly skilled workforce. Our various courses and programs include training for existing employees who wish to enhance their skills – as well as students who are preparing to launch a new career.

Our program is committed to innovation, flexibility and sensitivity to business and industry needs. Our courses and programs are designed to meet specific needs of those we serve and include credit, non-credit, certificate and customized programs delivered where, when and how our business/industrial partners feel best suits their needs.
Workforce Development is directed by personnel with extensive corporate, business and industrial experience and approaches each assignment accordingly. Unless otherwise directed by clients, the emphasis is on the practical instead of the theoretical. In addition, we design each program around best practices while assessing capabilities and experience throughout the Louisiana Community & Technical College System.
