Our Mission is to provide appropriate training to ensure Northeast Louisiana has a highly skilled workforce that gives area business and industry a globally competitive advantage. We are committed to innovation, flexibility and sensitivity to business/industry needs. We consider workforce development a partnership between Louisiana Delta Community College and area businesses and industries. Our programs are designed to meet specific needs of those we serve and include credit, non-credit, certificate and customized programs delivered where, when and how our business/industrial partners feel best suits their needs. Delta, it’s more than a place…it’s an attitude. Workforce Development is directed by personnel with extensive corporate, business and industrial experience and approaches each assignment accordingly. Unless otherwise directed by clients, the emphasis is on the practical instead of the theoretical. In addition, in each assignment, Workforce Development assesses capabilities and experience throughout the Louisiana Community & Technical College System in order to begin with the best practices in each program design.
