High School Equivalency Program

The High School Equivalency Program (HEP) helps migrant and seasonal farmworkers (or their children) who are 16 years of age or older and not currently attending secondary school to obtain their High School Equivalency (HSE). After completing their HSE, the program helps them to gain employment or enter postsecondary education or training.

Eligibility Requirements

You are eligible to participate in the HEP if you:

  • Lack a High School Diploma or its equivalent
  • Are at least 16 years of age and not enrolled in school
  • Have participated within the past 24 months in:
(You or your immediate family member) worked at least 75 days in migrant or seasonal farmwork
