Mobile Email Settings - Faculty/Staff
The Information Technology Department only supports devices that utilize Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync.
For security reasons, our email system requires that a passcode be set on your device before it will sync with our
mail server. If you have an iPhone, it will prompt for a passcode to be set within a few minutes of configuring the
device. Louisiana Delta Community College reserves the right to wipe all personal devices
that have been configured for use with our network to ensure privacy and security of priveleged information.
- From the Home screen go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
- Select Add Account.
- Select Microsoft Exchange.
- Enter the following:
- Email: username@ladelta.edu
- Domain: ladelta
- Username: username
- Password: password
- Select Next.
- A new field for Server will appear. Enter mail.ladelta.edu.
- Select Next.
- Select the items that you wish to sync (Mail, Contacts, Calendars).
- Select Done.
- Email: username@ladelta.edu
- Domain: ladelta
- Server: mail.ladelta.edu
- Username: username
- Password: password
Mobile Email Settings - Students
- From the Home screen go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
- Select Add Account.
- Select Microsoft Exchange.
- Enter the following:
- Email: LOLAUSERNAME@my.ladelta.edu
- Domain: my.ladelta.edu
- Username: LOLAUSERNAME@my.ladelta.edu
- Password: password
- Select Next.
- A new field for Server will appear. Enter mail.office365.com.
- Select Next.
- Select the items that you wish to sync (Mail, Contacts, Calendars).
- Select Done.
- Email: LOLAUSERNAME@my.ladelta.edu
- Domain: my.ladelta.edu
- Server: mail.office365.com
- Username: LOLAUSERNAME@my.ladelta.edu
- Password: password
