Microsoft "Work At Home" Program for Employees
The Microsoft Campus Agreement with certain restrictions allows LA Delta employees to use the following Microsoft products at home:
- Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate. This is an "Upgrade". (See special instructions below.)
- Microsoft Office. Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 for Windows or Microsoft Office Standard 2011 for Macintosh. (Only one Office product can be obtained.)
What are the terms and conditions of use?
Louisiana Delta Community College has purchased license coverage for Microsoft Office and Windows 7 Ultimate upgrade through its Microsoft Campus Agreement for all LA Delta employees. The employee is required to buy the installation media.
To participate in this agreement, you must acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions listed:
- You do not own the license or the DVDs, rather you are authorized to use the software and associated media pursuant to the terms and conditions of the Microsoft Campus Agreement.
- You will be required to remove the software from your personnal computer when your employment by LA Delta ends.
- You will be required to remove the software from your personnal computer should LA Delta CC end its agreement with Microsoft. Should this license agreement expire, an announcement will be issued to the Delta community and from this web site.
- You must be a LA Delta employee (an employee is any person who receives a pay check from LA Delta).
- You must read and abide by the license agreement(s) associated with this software when you install the software.
- No technical support is provided by Microsoft. The LA Delta IT Help Desk (345-9025) can be contacted for assitance in the installation of the software provided in this program.
- You are entitled to only one copy of the software for work at home use.
How to obtain software?
Your use of this system is your acknowledgment that you accept the terms of this agreement. In order to obtain MS Office and the Upgrade of the MS Windows 7 Ultimate software follow these instructions:
- Step 1: Go to ladelta.onthehub.com
- Step 2: Click on the Sign In link at the top right of the page.
- Step 3: If you have not registered click on the Register link. You must register with your @ladelta.edu email address.
- Step 2: Click on the Sign In link at the top right of the page.
- Step 4: Follow the instructions given by the site.
