MONROE, LA — Louisiana Delta Community College (LDCC) proudly announces that its Industrial Technology Department has been awarded a Certificate of Accreditation from the Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering (ATMAE) Board of Accreditation, effective October 22, 2025.
This achievement reaffirms LDCC’s commitment to providing high-quality technical education and preparing students for success in Louisiana’s growing workforce. The accreditation applies to three programs within the department: Drafting and Design Technology, Industrial Instrumentation Technology, and Process Technology.
“This was truly a team effort—working together toward a common goal,” said Division Chair of Industrial Technology, Charles Stevenson. “We’re incredibly proud of our faculty, staff, and administrators who dedicated their time and expertise to ensure our programs meet the highest standards of excellence.”
The ATMAE accreditation process evaluates programs based on curriculum quality, faculty qualifications, facilities, and continuous improvement efforts. LDCC’s recognition underscores the college’s ongoing dedication to advancing technical education in the region.
