Welcome to High School Dual Enrollment

Louisiana Delta Community College’s dual enrollment program works
with local high schools to provide college-level academic courses and
career & technical education courses to high school students.

What is dual enrollment?
Dual enrollment is a program that allows qualified high school students
to take advantage of postsecondary education and training. High school
students have the opportunity to earn high school and college credits
simultaneously.

What are the benefits of LDCC’s dual enrollment program?

  • Dual enrollment provides high school students an opportunity to
get a head start on college and technical training.
  • Dual enrollment allows students to experience college level
courses while still having support from their high school. This
provides an easier transition for the student.
  • Many of the dual enrollment courses are transferable to other
colleges and universities in the state.
