MONROE, La. — The Louisiana Delta Community College Foundation, in partnership with The Hotel Monroe, will host the fifth annual Hats & Horses Kentucky Derby celebration on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Now in its fifth year, Hats & Horses has evolved into one of Northeast Louisiana’s most anticipated spring events, blending Southern elegance, executive-level networking, and meaningful impact. Powered by Entergy, the event serves as both a festive Derby celebration and a strategic gathering of business, industry, and community leaders committed to strengthening the region’s workforce.
Proceeds from the event directly support scholarships and student assistance funds for individuals enrolled in both short-term workforce certifications and long-term academic programs at Louisiana Delta Community College.
Attendees are invited to “come as you are” or fully embrace Derby fashion with bold hats, bow ties, and vibrant spring attire.
