MONROE, LA — Louisiana Delta Community College (LDCC) is proud to announce that the college has been officially reaffirmed for accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) for the next ten years following the October 2025 Reaffirmation Visit.
The reaffirmation represents significant institutional achievement and reflects LDCC's ongoing commitment to academic excellence, student success, institutional effectiveness, and continuous improvement.
Accreditation serves as the primary measure through which colleges and universities demonstrate educational quality, accountability, and effectiveness. Through the reaffirmation process, LDCC demonstrated its ability to fulfill its mission, make data-informed decisions, assess institutional performance, and use evidence-based practices to improve student learning and outcomes.
"This reaffirmation is a testament to the dedication, professionalism, and collaborative spirit of our faculty, staff, administrators, and stakeholders across the college," said LDCC Chancellor Dr. Justin Hoggard. "Every employee plays a vital role in ensuring our students receive a high-quality education and the support they need to succeed. This achievement reflects the strength of our institution and our shared commitment to excellence."
As the college celebrates this accomplishment, leadership remains focused on advancing its mission of transforming lives through education, strengthening communities, and creating opportunities for future generations.
