Commercial Vehicle Operator Testing

Course Description: This test is only for students who have successfully completed the required educational hours from an approved Commercial Vehicle Operating school, and students who are needing to upgrade their license from a Class B to a Class A License. This test will consist of a hands-on driving test that includes: Pre-Trip Inspection: Demonstrating knowledge of vehicle safety by inspecting critical components. Basic Control Skills: Maneuvering the vehicle in an enclosed area, including straight-line backing, offset backing, parallel parking, and alley dock. Road Test: Driving on public roads to show safe operation, including turns, lane changes, railroad crossings, and proper gear use.

Cost: $300/includes truck rental
         $100/without truck rental
Pre-requisite: Must have complete the educational requirements from an approved CDL Program or must currently hold a Class B Commercial Drivers License.
