Electrical Lineman

Course Description: This program covers a 16-week training course focusing on NCCER certification for electrical line workers. Students will acquire knowledge of various power plants including nuclear, fossil, and alternative power sources. Students will learn safety equipment and safety practices associated with power line work. They will learn how power lines are utilized throughout the power industry. OSHA 10, First Aid and CPR, Competent Person Trenching and Excavation and line locating certificates are embedded.

Prerequisites:

• Class A or B Commercial Drivers License is highly recommended.
• DOT Physical
• HS Diploma/GED verification
