Military & Veterans
Welcome Veterans, Reservists, Active Duty and Eligible Dependents!
It is the privilege of Louisiana Delta Community College to work with you to help you achieve your educational goals. We take pride in the title "Military Friendly Campus." We offer full support to our military population, and we strive to uphold superior student support services, along with quality, cost-efficient, and top-notch education.
On April 27, 2012, President Obama signed Executive Order 13607: Establishing Principles of Excellence for Educational Institutions Serving Members, Veterans, Spouses, and Other Family. These principles work as institutional guidelines to assure financial and educational transparency to our service members, veterans, and families. We also make sure that everyone has access to the information needed to make informed decisions concerning any well-earned Federal military and veteran’s educational benefits. By participating in the Principles of Excellence, Louisiana Delta Community College is officially a "VA Friendly" school and listed as such on the GI Bill® website.
As a VA approved institution, Louisiana Delta Community College proudly commits to the Principles of Excellence. We have and will continue to provide information regarding cost and quality of education for prospective and continuing military students and family-members. We take extra measures to communicate with veterans to inform each one of benefits, rights and privileges. We can assure that veterans will always have the full support of the institution, along with high quality academic and student support services.
