LDCC R.I.S.E. - Reaching Independence through Skills and Education

About Our Program

At Louisiana Delta Community College (LDCC) we are transforming the lives of young adults through our R.I.S.E. (Reaching Independence through Skills and Education) Program.  R.I.S.E is a non-degree Comprehensive Transition and Postsecondary (CTP) Program that offers an inclusive and supportive college experience designed specifically for students with intellectual disabilities, ages 18-28, who desire to continue their education, develop independent living sills, and prepare for meaningful employment after high school.

Our program provides a structured pathway that combines academics, career exploration, life skills development, and campus engagement in a safe and encouraging environment. Students learn alongside their peers, participate in real college experiences, and receive individualized support to help them grow academically, socially, and professionally.

At LDCC, we believe every student deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and succeed.
