ACCUPLACER is a suite of untimed computerized placement tests that quickly, accurately, and efficiently assesses English, writing, and math skills. These scores are used to guide the student to take certain classes that will assist them in preparing for future academic requirements. Applicants may retest as often as they would like up to the end of the add/drop date of each semester (does not apply to students in the Practical Nursing program).
Cell phones or any other electronic devices are not authorized at any time during testing and will need to be placed in one of our secured lockers. The violation of test security by using unauthorized devices may include invalidation of test scores.
A valid Louisiana Delta Community College STUDENT ID # is required for ACCUPLACER registration; if you need to acquire one, please contact the office of admissions at 318-345-9003 or via email, firstname.lastname@example.org.
All other types of examinations administered at each location are by appointment only and must be scheduled through the appropriate campus using the contact information above.
Students are encouraged to have taken an Accuplacer exam within the previous three (3) years. Test scores older than three (3) years may not be accepted by certain programs at Louisiana Delta Community College. Consult your Faculty Advisor for your program for more information.
