Disability Services
In order to assist students who require academic adjustments and auxiliary aids, it is essential that these students identify with this office. Students are asked to schedule an appointment by calling (318)345-9152 or by sending an email to traciclark@ladelta.edu.
In the initial meeting, students will complete the Application for Services. This form is found on the Disability Services web-page on the menu to the right, under the tab "Application for Services."
Along with the Application, students will provide documentation of their disability. Each student’s request is reviewed on a case-by-case basis to ensure the disability documentation has met the guidelines. For additional information, please see the see section on “Disability Documentation Guidelines.”
Based on the documented needs and functional limitations of the disability, appropriate academic adjustments and auxiliary aids will be identified in a collaborative discussion between the counselor and the student.
